Visit the Outside Classroom

The children enjoy learning in the open air when they have lessons in the Outside Classroom. They can sit on the benches and draw, hunt for creatures hiding under rotting logs in the Stumpery or enjoy dipping in the pond.

Use of the outside classroom is supervised at all times.
The children visit the Outside Classroom every week when they or the weather permits.

They even go over there when it snows!

Here are some observations of one child........

When I went to the outside classroom I saw beetles and birds in the tree. Tadpoles swam in the water. I went pond dipping and I saw tadpoles.
