INTERNATIONAL WEEK!
Everyone has been writing their letters to the children in Aparanga School in Uganda.
RABBITS HAVE BEEN TASTING BREADS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.

THEY ALSO SAMPLED SOME CROISSANTS.

They enjoyed a talk from Miss Hales about the turtles in Sri Lanka and they made some paper ones themselves!


They made some rangoli patterns>>

Mrs Smith taught the children the story of divali and they enjoyed all the puppets!


FOXES ALSO LEARNT ABOUT TURTLE CONSERVATION IN SRI LANKA WITH MISS HALES.
They also had vistors from some mums who had lived in other countries.
Mrs Green from France.


Mrs Congdon from South Africa and Malawe.


Foxes made some impressive buildings from lego.
Can you spot the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe??







They have also made totem poles, japanese writing, fans and french flags.
BREAD MAKING WAS ON THE CURRICULUM AS WELL!!

Our local karate instructor, Matthew (or SENSEI) talked to the children about karate and everyone had a go!

BADGERS HAVE BEEN LEARNING ABOUT MEXICO AND FINISHING THEIR SIX WEEK PROJECT ABOUT INDIA.

They made weavings from Mexico.

Arn't they colourful????????
Mrs Anderson came into the classroom to talk about her life in Poland.
